Hours 10 AM to 6 PM - 6 days per week – Noon to 5 PM on Sunday – approximately 360 days per year – close Christmas – New Years – Easter – Thanksgiving and any other as agreed by dealer organization. Month to month rent – termination with 30 days written notice by either party.
Rents vary by size and location. Once rent is established, it will not change unless all rents are raised by a percentage based on cost of living or dealer organization agreement. Dealers work one day per month or pay $60 fee. Showcase renters are not required to work. A dealer organization, made up of at least seven dealers, will be established and meet at least quarterly with mall owners, to insure the quality of the operation, provide opportunities for dealer input, education and social activities.
Mall provides sales staff, & computerized monthly sales reports. A monthly fee of $20 per booth or $7 for showcase will be charged to cover credit card fees, advertising and a dealer organization and promotion program. Mall will be reimbursed for actual credit card expenses and balance of fees will be kept in a separate fund to be used for advertising and promotions as determined by the dealer organization. Mall collects sales tax and remits it back to dealer as a portion of their monthly settlement check.
Booth rent is paid in advance, due the first of each month. First month’s rent for a new booth is prorated. If rent payment is not made by the end of the month it will be deducted from the sales settlement payment due the dealer. Payment for the previous month’s sales and sales tax will be available on the 2nd day of each month.
The mall will maintain the common areas and aisles and the dealers arrange and maintain their booths. Dealers are encouraged to work in the mall whenever possible to change their booth arrangement and create interest for the customers. Items displayed will be pre 1970 or deemed appropriate by dealer organization and mall owner. Items not appropriate will be removed and held for dealer pick up.
All items must be tagged with price, booth/dealer ID code, and name or number of item. All items not marked “firm” may be discounted at time of sale at sales staff discretion based on a discount plan established be each dealer.
Mall security will be tight including building access, lighting and security equipment. Dealer is responsible for its booth and items, including insuring its goods against loss or damage if insurance coverage is desired. Mall will not be liable for any damage, theft or loss of dealer’s property.
